Games have been a common form of entertainment for generations.

Senet, found in Predynastic and First Dynasty burials of Egypt, c. 3500 BC and 3100 BC respectively, is the oldest board game known to have existed. Senet was pictured in a fresco found in Merknera's tomb (3300–2700 BC). Also from predynastic Egypt is Mehen. Backgammon originated in ancient Persia over 5,000 years ago.

A board game encompasses competition and at the same time togetherness. Playing games with your family is a great way to relieve stress and enhance creativity. Kill Switch Bunker Games is dedicated to making games that fill the ticket for the sarcastic, the politically incorrect and the not quite right.

So don't take us too seriously!

Remember having someone teach you how to play a game? I do, my Aunt Elinor was one of the few grown ups that would always play with you. She was never too busy and she really had fun when she played. She taught me how to play poker, yep poker. At eight yrs. old I was pretty good at five card stud and seven card draw. Of course the best part was the she took the time to play with you.

My Mom got us games and she often to kept a puzzle going. Any time you might stop, for a drink or visit, there would be that puzzle and a few more pieces would come together.

When I became a Mom, I bought games to play with my kids. I hope they remember, we played everything; Don’t break the ice, Cootie Bug, Ants in Your Pants, and the list goes on. As they grew the games changed and then the darn video game rage started. I wasn’t crazy about that, but of course we had them. I admit I’ve spent plenty of time with ToeJam and Earl, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

These days, I still like to play! Cards, Scrabble you name it I’ll play it. And now that I’ve made a game, I think up new ones all the time. Of course there are more of them in my head then I may ever get made but who knows.

What I do know is that its good for you to play! There are countless studies out there that show the how and the why, as for me, all I know is PLAY WHEN YOU CAN!

Bringing people together and having fun is an essential part of society. Hence the old expression "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy".

Games reflect our current social and political attitudes. With the world in the midst of much uncertainty and unrest a new twist of genre has occurred. The genre of modern day survivalist. Even the term survivalist has changed over the course of time.  It now conjures up bad ass militant types, backwoods antisocial types and even zombie killers.

Here at Kill Switch we just regular hard working folks that love our families, friends, and freedom. We are new to game making, but we are long time survivalist/prepper types. We decided that there should be games for us, the kind of entertainment that reflects our interest and teaches our ideology.
